Champions League plus La liga...... What an upcoming week!

&

With their recent win over Espanyol, and the great soccer show they presented in their last sthree matches, Real Madrid will be playing , not very threatening club Xerez. Xerez is at the bottom of the league table with only two wins from 21 play. While Real Madrid have a total of 16 wins from 21 game. I don’t even need to mention any numbers, simply because there is no comparison when it comes about the royal club Real Madrid against this simple club Xerez. For the unlucky Xeresclub, Real Madrid will be playing the match without major injuries in the team players, except a couple. The ‘beast’, Cristiano Ronaldo will be making his come back in the match, after being banned for tow matches. So the Real Madrid’s squad will be full of stars. Hopefully they will make it through and take the easy three points from Xerez.

Real Madrid is entering tomorrow’s match with high hopes and confidence for many reasons. First of all, is because their amazing performance that they showed in the last three matches. Only the last week, Real Madrid won over a strong competitor Espanyol with three goals to nothing. Real Madrid vs Espanyol 3-0. They started the match with in a good way; by scoring the first goal in the fifth minute. It was from Granero’s cross who made the ball curve directly on Sergio Ramos head, who easily put the ball in the net. As I always say, Real Madrid doesn’t ever get enough from scoring; they always go behind the second goal and that what was obvious in the match. After they scored, Real Madrid was still putting ,many efforts to score the second goal. They were close to score in many occasions, but the LEGENDARY Espanyol goalkeeper Idriss Kameni did a great job not letting Real to score again. Anyway, after 25 minutes from the first goal, former AC Milan star Ricardo Kaka kicked the ball which bounced back from the goal keeper after a head kick from Raul. There were many chances for both teams for the rest of the math, as Real Madrid were trying to keep their lead and Espanyol were looking for their first goal. In the middle of the send half, the best, the top scorer, Real Madrid striker, Gonzalo Higuain entered the field along with his teammate mid fielder Rafael van der Vaart. The both player didn’t played for the last three matches because of injuries. The moment Higuain had his foot on the field, I know something is coming. And I wasn’t wrong; Higuain didn’t disappoint me as he scored the third goal for Real Madrid after a beautiful pass from Van der vaart.

Beside tomorrow’s match against Xerez, Real Madrid will face Olympique Lyonnais in the Champions league on Tuesday. This match is from the stage 16, knock out stage, of the champions’ league. I’m pretty optimistic about the two matches, because Xerez is not a threatening team, and the Olympique Lyonnais aren’t not playing their best season in France league. Another thing that comes in mind is Barcelona’s (holds the the first place with 5 points ahead of Real Madrid) math against Atletico de Madrid. I would repeat what Van Der Vaart said in the press conference, “hopefully Real Madrid will win over Xerez, and then cheer for Atletico de Madrid against Barcelona.”....

"Real Madrid is not one man team"

All my worries were for nothing. It’s funny how I was doubtful about Real Madrid’s match last week. Again they proved themselves, “[Real Madrid] is not a one man team”, as Pellegrini said at the end of last week’s match conference. A victory by three goals to one over Deportivo La Coruna was what Real Madrid needed to get their confidence back and continue their race over the title. The match against Deportivo was so threatening because of the many absences in the Real Madrid’s squad, but still they managed to perform some of their best matches.

The match started by Benzema, Raul, and Guti in the starting position, who are usually on the bench, on normal matches, thanks to the many absences in the team. Real Madrid vs Deportivo La Coruña 3-1 [30/01/10] Full Highlights and Goals. As soon as the referee started the game, Real Madrid started their attempts of scoring. As securing a goal at the beginning of the match would make the match safer for Real Madrid. That exactly what happened at the 13th minute, when Real Madrid’s new star Esteban Granero came into action. With the ball moving between 5 heads, it finally came to Granero’s head where he hit it and led it to the net. Still after this goal, Real Madrid’s continued their attacks for a second goal. And the moment finally came at the 40th minute, which was a result of a fantastic team play. The ball started from the goal keeper of Real Madrid, iker Casillas, all the way to Deportivo’s net by Karim benzema. The goal was amazing because it involved quick passes between the players who played like they memorized the scenario of scoring. And the best part was the finishing, as the ball reached Guti from Kaka, he was by himself facing the goal keeper, but instead of hitting the ball towards the target, he passed the ball smoothly with his back heel to the coming Karim Benzema who put it easily in the new. Guti's amazing backheel pass . After this goal, Real Madrid started to play slowly and focused more on defending side more than attacking. The game was lwent like this until Deportiva started it real attemps on Real Madrid’s net. They succeed by getting a penalty kick five minutes before the end of the match. After the goal, and Real Madrid only leading by one, Deportiva players put more pressure on Real Madrid, but the ending word came from Benzeema again. He scored the final goal of the math in the 90’s minute, which was also a result of perfect team, playing.

V.S.

For today’s match, against Espanyol, Real Madrid is in a better shape. Gonzalo Higuain, and Mahamadou Diarra will be able to play in the match. However, Cristiano Ronaldo will not play because of the banning of two matches, tomorrow math is the second. So real Madrid has a better chance in winning, since Espanyol, are not playing their best season, as well as the coach of Espanyol was lately substituted. For me, Real Madrid are playing every game to their maximum, because they know the leader, Barcalona, will not lose points easily. So keeping the difference five points is good, but making the difference bigger might mean losing the title.

Can real Madrid win over Deportivo La Coruna without their top stars?

Vs

Tomorrow’s match, Real Madrid against Deportivo La Coruna will be one of the most exciting and frightening matches for real Madrid. For me, I’ll be glad if we even won by one goal, although whenever Real Madrid plays I want them to score as many goals as they can, but not for tomorrow’s match, one goal is enough. Deportivo La Coruna is not like any Real Madrid’s previous opponents, it is against a team which is holding the fifth position in the league table, which is quite good. Also they have had some good games recently, except the one they had in “Copa del Rey”, when they lost against Sevilla.

And to make the case worst, Real Madrid will miss some of his best players’ services as they go with a squad containing of four players from the reserved squad. With Cristiano Ronaldo being suspending for the next two matches, Gonzalo Higuain suffering from an injury, Real Madrid will play tomorrow’s match without their best scorers. Other players who will be missing in tomorrow’s match are Ezequiel Garay, Pepe(defenders), Fernando Gago, and Mahamadou Diarra(Midfielders). Another thing is that the last time Cristiano missed a game; Real Madrid lost two matches and had draw on another, that was back in 20009 at the beginning of the league. Then now, what if Ronaldo missing with punch of other top stars of the team, how will they win tomorrow?

Another thing that makes me doubtful about tomttow’s match is because of Real Madrid’s latest performance. As I discussed earlier in my blog, Real Madrid have not been the same since the start of the New Year. Even after their 2-0 victory over the Malga last week, I still believe they aren’t as good as before. They could’ve lost the match if it wasn’t for Cristiano, and the huge efforts of Xavi Alonso and Guti. Real Madrid vs Malaga 2-0 Full Highlights and Goals . They started the match with a weak performance, and it could’ve cost them, if it was no Iker Casillas to stop the opponents from scoring. It was until the mid of the first half when I noticed Real Madrid began to organize and focus more on making real threat on Malga’s net. Cristiano Ronaldo scored two astonishing goals giving his team a win over Malga. His goals proved that Cristiano is still in his shape and can do much better. There were not any other real chances after the two goals, and nothing really happened except that Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off just before the match end by 20 minutes.

For the Red card that was shown for Cristiano Ronaldo, I think he kind of deserve it, although I will miss him at the same time for tomorrow’s match. The referee sent Cristiano off when he hit Malga’s player with his elbow. As a result, Malga’s player will not be able to play for the next three week, as he suffers from a nose break. Many people believe that it wasn’t intentional and the punishment is excessive for an elbow hit, but me personally, I think he deserves it. Ronaldo in his last four matches he had a bad temper, and always used to shout on referee’s decisions. I believe that all this was because of him not scoring. He didn’t score since there last match in 2009 against (Real Zaragoza) until last week’s match. Also, the player who Ronaldo hit was injured severely as he will miss 3 weeks. So yeah, it was a right punishment.

I’ve never been this afraid from any team Real Madrid played against like I’m for tomorrow’s match. There are many questions need to be answered. Does Pellegrini, the coach, have something espical for us? Can he make Real Madrid win without his stars? If real lost their math, which hopefully will not happened, then it might mean that winning the league title would be hard, if now impossible.

Real Madrid vs Against Malga... a Match can't be other than winning for Real

Vs

All Real Madrid’s fans are waiting for the Sunday game against Malga club in Bernabeu stadium. This match may not seems too threatening for Real Madrid, as Malga holds the 16th in the ranking table of the Spanish league ,La liga, but still everything is possible in the soccer. On the other side, Real Madrid has to prove that they still are in competition for the League title. The lost in the last match had cost Real Madrid to be behind Barcelona which currently leading by five points. Also they are just ahead of Valencia by only three points, so they even can drop to the third place if they loses and Valencia wins. So real Madrid really needs to win the game for both keeping him in competition and get back its repetition as one of the greatest clubs in the World.

Real Madrid has been facing a lot of arguments recently because of their poor performance in the last three matches in the league, only winning in one match, drawing for the other, and loosing in the last match. Also, Real Madrid’s players are facing pressures as well, especially there recently moved players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, and Karim Benzema. They didn’t have the impact that they fans were excepting them to have on the club. They were the best players in their previous clubs, but unfortunately, not as good in Real Madrid. The reason for it I think might be the new style of play which might be different from what they used to play in.

For the Sunday Matches, I believe Real Madrid will real show their true ability. For now, I believe that the only problem for real Madrid is scoring. From what I’ve seen in there last match, Highlithes Real Madrid VS Athletic Bilbao 0-1, they had ton of chances and made a big threat on Athletic de Bilbao goal, but they were unfortunate, in other words I would just say missing the last touch to score. The evidence is they very close ion scoring five times, but in each time the ball refused to enter, was it earthier from rebounding from the goaly or missing by little. Even the match was just played by one side, Real Madrid, the other team didn’t have any chanse except at the very beginning of the match when they score. The reason for not scoring might be because they are missing there top scorer Higuain. He is currently off for more two week due to a leg injury. He just showed how a great player he is, because when he misses a match, Real’s is not the same.

Who knows, maybe there last lost will be just a start for a new Era of Real Madrid. Because as I can see, Pellegrin is kind of coach who knows when he make mistakes and tries to solve them. The last time when they lost against Barcalona in November, after that match, real Madrid played three of there best mathc in this season. Ijn fact in one of there three matches, they won six to nothing. They just played as a team and didn’t just rely on a single player, it was Real Mardid playing not,Crisiano or KaKa. This is hopefully what I want to see from them on Sunday.
Just hopefully they will win and just keep the dreams of their fans of the title alive.
