Can real Madrid win over Deportivo La Coruna without their top stars?

Vs

Tomorrow’s match, Real Madrid against Deportivo La Coruna will be one of the most exciting and frightening matches for real Madrid. For me, I’ll be glad if we even won by one goal, although whenever Real Madrid plays I want them to score as many goals as they can, but not for tomorrow’s match, one goal is enough. Deportivo La Coruna is not like any Real Madrid’s previous opponents, it is against a team which is holding the fifth position in the league table, which is quite good. Also they have had some good games recently, except the one they had in “Copa del Rey”, when they lost against Sevilla.

And to make the case worst, Real Madrid will miss some of his best players’ services as they go with a squad containing of four players from the reserved squad. With Cristiano Ronaldo being suspending for the next two matches, Gonzalo Higuain suffering from an injury, Real Madrid will play tomorrow’s match without their best scorers. Other players who will be missing in tomorrow’s match are Ezequiel Garay, Pepe(defenders), Fernando Gago, and Mahamadou Diarra(Midfielders). Another thing is that the last time Cristiano missed a game; Real Madrid lost two matches and had draw on another, that was back in 20009 at the beginning of the league. Then now, what if Ronaldo missing with punch of other top stars of the team, how will they win tomorrow?

Another thing that makes me doubtful about tomttow’s match is because of Real Madrid’s latest performance. As I discussed earlier in my blog, Real Madrid have not been the same since the start of the New Year. Even after their 2-0 victory over the Malga last week, I still believe they aren’t as good as before. They could’ve lost the match if it wasn’t for Cristiano, and the huge efforts of Xavi Alonso and Guti. Real Madrid vs Malaga 2-0 Full Highlights and Goals . They started the match with a weak performance, and it could’ve cost them, if it was no Iker Casillas to stop the opponents from scoring. It was until the mid of the first half when I noticed Real Madrid began to organize and focus more on making real threat on Malga’s net. Cristiano Ronaldo scored two astonishing goals giving his team a win over Malga. His goals proved that Cristiano is still in his shape and can do much better. There were not any other real chances after the two goals, and nothing really happened except that Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off just before the match end by 20 minutes.

For the Red card that was shown for Cristiano Ronaldo, I think he kind of deserve it, although I will miss him at the same time for tomorrow’s match. The referee sent Cristiano off when he hit Malga’s player with his elbow. As a result, Malga’s player will not be able to play for the next three week, as he suffers from a nose break. Many people believe that it wasn’t intentional and the punishment is excessive for an elbow hit, but me personally, I think he deserves it. Ronaldo in his last four matches he had a bad temper, and always used to shout on referee’s decisions. I believe that all this was because of him not scoring. He didn’t score since there last match in 2009 against (Real Zaragoza) until last week’s match. Also, the player who Ronaldo hit was injured severely as he will miss 3 weeks. So yeah, it was a right punishment.

I’ve never been this afraid from any team Real Madrid played against like I’m for tomorrow’s match. There are many questions need to be answered. Does Pellegrini, the coach, have something espical for us? Can he make Real Madrid win without his stars? If real lost their math, which hopefully will not happened, then it might mean that winning the league title would be hard, if now impossible.
