Champions League plus La liga...... What an upcoming week!

&

With their recent win over Espanyol, and the great soccer show they presented in their last sthree matches, Real Madrid will be playing , not very threatening club Xerez. Xerez is at the bottom of the league table with only two wins from 21 play. While Real Madrid have a total of 16 wins from 21 game. I don’t even need to mention any numbers, simply because there is no comparison when it comes about the royal club Real Madrid against this simple club Xerez. For the unlucky Xeresclub, Real Madrid will be playing the match without major injuries in the team players, except a couple. The ‘beast’, Cristiano Ronaldo will be making his come back in the match, after being banned for tow matches. So the Real Madrid’s squad will be full of stars. Hopefully they will make it through and take the easy three points from Xerez.

Real Madrid is entering tomorrow’s match with high hopes and confidence for many reasons. First of all, is because their amazing performance that they showed in the last three matches. Only the last week, Real Madrid won over a strong competitor Espanyol with three goals to nothing. Real Madrid vs Espanyol 3-0. They started the match with in a good way; by scoring the first goal in the fifth minute. It was from Granero’s cross who made the ball curve directly on Sergio Ramos head, who easily put the ball in the net. As I always say, Real Madrid doesn’t ever get enough from scoring; they always go behind the second goal and that what was obvious in the match. After they scored, Real Madrid was still putting ,many efforts to score the second goal. They were close to score in many occasions, but the LEGENDARY Espanyol goalkeeper Idriss Kameni did a great job not letting Real to score again. Anyway, after 25 minutes from the first goal, former AC Milan star Ricardo Kaka kicked the ball which bounced back from the goal keeper after a head kick from Raul. There were many chances for both teams for the rest of the math, as Real Madrid were trying to keep their lead and Espanyol were looking for their first goal. In the middle of the send half, the best, the top scorer, Real Madrid striker, Gonzalo Higuain entered the field along with his teammate mid fielder Rafael van der Vaart. The both player didn’t played for the last three matches because of injuries. The moment Higuain had his foot on the field, I know something is coming. And I wasn’t wrong; Higuain didn’t disappoint me as he scored the third goal for Real Madrid after a beautiful pass from Van der vaart.

Beside tomorrow’s match against Xerez, Real Madrid will face Olympique Lyonnais in the Champions league on Tuesday. This match is from the stage 16, knock out stage, of the champions’ league. I’m pretty optimistic about the two matches, because Xerez is not a threatening team, and the Olympique Lyonnais aren’t not playing their best season in France league. Another thing that comes in mind is Barcelona’s (holds the the first place with 5 points ahead of Real Madrid) math against Atletico de Madrid. I would repeat what Van Der Vaart said in the press conference, “hopefully Real Madrid will win over Xerez, and then cheer for Atletico de Madrid against Barcelona.”....

"Real Madrid is not one man team"

All my worries were for nothing. It’s funny how I was doubtful about Real Madrid’s match last week. Again they proved themselves, “[Real Madrid] is not a one man team”, as Pellegrini said at the end of last week’s match conference. A victory by three goals to one over Deportivo La Coruna was what Real Madrid needed to get their confidence back and continue their race over the title. The match against Deportivo was so threatening because of the many absences in the Real Madrid’s squad, but still they managed to perform some of their best matches.

The match started by Benzema, Raul, and Guti in the starting position, who are usually on the bench, on normal matches, thanks to the many absences in the team. Real Madrid vs Deportivo La Coruña 3-1 [30/01/10] Full Highlights and Goals. As soon as the referee started the game, Real Madrid started their attempts of scoring. As securing a goal at the beginning of the match would make the match safer for Real Madrid. That exactly what happened at the 13th minute, when Real Madrid’s new star Esteban Granero came into action. With the ball moving between 5 heads, it finally came to Granero’s head where he hit it and led it to the net. Still after this goal, Real Madrid’s continued their attacks for a second goal. And the moment finally came at the 40th minute, which was a result of a fantastic team play. The ball started from the goal keeper of Real Madrid, iker Casillas, all the way to Deportivo’s net by Karim benzema. The goal was amazing because it involved quick passes between the players who played like they memorized the scenario of scoring. And the best part was the finishing, as the ball reached Guti from Kaka, he was by himself facing the goal keeper, but instead of hitting the ball towards the target, he passed the ball smoothly with his back heel to the coming Karim Benzema who put it easily in the new. Guti's amazing backheel pass . After this goal, Real Madrid started to play slowly and focused more on defending side more than attacking. The game was lwent like this until Deportiva started it real attemps on Real Madrid’s net. They succeed by getting a penalty kick five minutes before the end of the match. After the goal, and Real Madrid only leading by one, Deportiva players put more pressure on Real Madrid, but the ending word came from Benzeema again. He scored the final goal of the math in the 90’s minute, which was also a result of perfect team, playing.

V.S.

For today’s match, against Espanyol, Real Madrid is in a better shape. Gonzalo Higuain, and Mahamadou Diarra will be able to play in the match. However, Cristiano Ronaldo will not play because of the banning of two matches, tomorrow math is the second. So real Madrid has a better chance in winning, since Espanyol, are not playing their best season, as well as the coach of Espanyol was lately substituted. For me, Real Madrid are playing every game to their maximum, because they know the leader, Barcalona, will not lose points easily. So keeping the difference five points is good, but making the difference bigger might mean losing the title.
